Michael Westmoreland
Der europäische Cirkut-Kamera-Pionier zeigt seltene Stadtansichten und Architekturaufnahmen in extremen Panoramaformaten. Westmoreland wurde zum Erneuerer des Genres, als er 1970 als erster damit begann mit Farbdiamaterial zu arbeiten. Seine weltweit einzigartigen und bis zu 4 Meter langen Panorama-Dias konnten damals ohne die heutigen digitalen Verfahren nicht reproduziert werden. Als Ende der 70er-Jahre Cibachrome verfügbar war, fertigte Westmoreland Kontaktkopien seiner Dias an.

Gestalterisch und technisch brilliant realisiert Jook Leung lebendige 360-Grad-Panoramaszenen vor allem von New York City bei Nacht. Die Panoramen werden als interaktive sphärische QuickTime-VR-Bilder über einen Video-Projektor präsentiert und schlagen die Betrachter unmittelbar in ihren Bann.

Michael Westmoreland
The European Cirkut camera pioneer shows unusual exposures of city views and architecture in extreme panoramic formats. In 1970 Westmoreland became an innovator of the genre when using, for the first time, colour slide material. At that time and without the help of today's digital processes it was not possible to reproduce his world-wide unique and up to 4 meters long panoramic slides. When cibachrome was available at the end of the 70ies, Westmoreland made contact prints of his slides.

Jook Leung
Jook Leung produces technically and in terms of design brilliant 360 degree panoramic scenes, above all from New York City at night. The panoramas are presented as interactive spherical QuickTime VR images with a video projector, which immediately fascinate the viewers.
